RED LINE RECORDS STARTED AS A PASSION PROJECT.

When Ari Mei-Dan studied at the University of Vermont, she quickly found home in the DIY music scene in Burlington. House shows or concerts at local venues happened virtually every weekend, and they were the Burlington equivalent of parties. Upon her move to Boston, she was disheartened by how difficult it was to tap into a similar scene. Finding shows and jam sessions was already difficult enough, but many musicians seemed disconnected from the wider creative community: photographers, videographers, graphic designers, and others who help bring music projects to life. Thus – the inspiration to make Red Line Records.

The goal of RLR is to not only to network with creatives in the Greater Boston area, but to also provide opportunities. Hosting shows and open mics. Organising workshops and lectures. Connecting artists with the artists they need: a producer for a record, a photographer for a show, a videographer for a music video, a manager for an upcoming tour, you name it.

Basically, a hub for everyone wanting everything music!
