WE ARE HIRING!

  • You’ll manage and track the RLR’s finances, including: budgeting, handling payments and reimbursements, and maintaining accurate financial records. You’ll oversee income and expenses from events, merch, and projects, prepare financial reports, and support fundraising efforts.

  • You’ll plan, organise, and help execute events like concerts, open mics, workshops, and showcases. You'll coordinate all event-related logistics and set-ups. You'll also help to promote events, manage budgets with the Treasurer, and gather feedback to improve future programming.

  • You’ll help to recruit new members, artists and partners while building relationships with local artists, orgs, and venues. You’ll lead outreach efforts, respond to inquiries, and coordinate campaigns to grow our presence in the Boston music scene.

  • You’ll oversee all musicians, producers, and writers at RLR.

    Tasks include: helping pair artists with the right teammates, be the main point of contact for all music-related questions, organise check-ins, and support artist development through workshops and feedback. You’ll also help plan networking and music-focused events like showcases, jam sessions, and release parties.

  • You’ll oversee all managers, publicists, and promotional roles at RLR.

    Tasks include: coordinating marketing and branding strategies for artists, events, and RLR. You’ll connect artists with the right marketing support and lead PR efforts for RLR. You’ll plan events like marketing for releases and shows and organise workshops on branding and social media.

  • You’ll oversee all visual artists and designers at RLR.

    Tasks include: assigning projects like flyers, album covers, merch, and promo materials. You’ll be the main contact for all visual design needs and pair designers with the right teams. You’ll support creative growth through workshops and networking events.

  • You’ll manage RLR’s social media accounts.

    Tasks include: planning posts to promote events, releases, and behind-the-scenes content. You’ll also lead creative campaigns for important moments, coordinate takeovers, Q&As, and artist spotlights to keep our online presence active and engaging.

Since we are dedicated to serving up-and-coming artists, we can only accept those currently enrolled in university (undergraduate or graduate) or those who have graduated in the past 2 years. All applicants must be based in the Greater Boston area. Positions are currently unpaid.

  • Our Boston Alumni Network (BAN) is dedicated to those who have graduated from Boston-area schools and are now working in the music industry. It was created with two goals in mind:

    1. Connecting RLR members with music-industry professionals to gain insight and learn more about the industry

    2. Connecting Boston-area alumni with each other

  • Are you are an artist or venue based outside of Boston but would like to support RLR?

    We are constantly looking for out-of-town partners to support our artists if they ever need resources outside of Boston — such finding venues for an upcoming tour or a photographer to document an out-of-town show.

Since we are dedicated to serving up-and-coming artists, we can only accept those currently enrolled in university (undergraduate or graduate) or those who have graduated in the past 5 years. All artists must be based in the Greater Boston area.

Exceptions are made for the Boston Alumni Network and RLR Out of Boston.
